Ovechkin also didn’t practice on Thursday morning with the team, he is currently doubtful for Friday’s match. Washington cannot afford another loss to a division rival. The Capitals are only two points out of the 8th playoff spot, which is currently held by the hottest team in the league the Columbus Blue Jackets.
