Kuzya and Dima celebrate together after game tying goal from Kuznetsov (NHL.com)

Evgeny Kuznetsov scored his first NHL goal Tuesday Night against the LA Kings. It came shorthanded and also knotted things back up at 4-4 with 41.6 seconds left. It was assisted by no other than Alex Ovechkin. The goal would give the Capitals a much needed standings point to tie the Jackets and Red Wings with 80 points.

The best part of Kuznetsovs’ goal was his celebration that followed. Kuzya was wrapped up by fellow countryman Dimitri Orlov. They’re smiles are absolutely priceless

Even though the game had been lost the Russians still had reason to celebrate. After all Kuzya gave the Capitals a huge standings point and recorded his first NHL goal.
